Finding YOUR way to exercise is the BEST way!
Tell me there is no one out there who doesn’t want to know what the best exercises are? I wrote an article yesterday on the topic “Best exercises to lose weight” I suggested heavy compound exercises. I truly believe that they are the best exercises BUT they might not be for everyone.
- You might have a weak core and lose your form.
- Your knees might go in- or outwards during the lift and causing pain.
- Your stiff hips make it impossible to squat properly.
- Shoulder pain preventing you to place the bar correctly.
- In general pain.
The list goes on and on. I would never recommend squats to a person with issues like that. That’s just starting at the wrong end of it all.
The best exercises are simply the ones you LOVE to perform. I don’t care if it’s yoga, spinning, gym, walking or running. Exercising is supposed to be fun; if it isn’t fun it isn’t right. So what’s best cardio then? The spinning session you actually attend to or the mile you never run? The math is simple huh?
When people ask me what’s best? Running or walking? Should I do it in the morning on an empty stomach or after a meal later in the day? I always reply, the one you would actually do and continue to do for a long period of time. I have so much experience from clients who wants to do it all so badly in the beginning. They start of maniacs and running for 3-4 days a week BUT it slowly decreases till they hit rock bottom and don’t even want to walk instead of running.
Keep it simple, make sure it’s fun and be patience and I’ll promise you the world is yours for the taking!
